Incorrect Pin When Pairing Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller
Question:
I have a Curt controller that I have used for a year now. The last time I tried to connect, I had power including the flashing blue light and the app saw the device. However when I tried to connect, it asks for a PIN. I try all of the suggested pins 0000 and 1234 and 4321 and 1111...., as well as any other pins I might have changed it to. But it simply says cannot read data from device.inch Very frustrating - Ive used this without incident before. Not sure why its suddenly requiring a PIN...

The pin number you need to enter to pair the Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller part # C51180 is located under the lid on older ones and under the lid and in the instructions on the newer ones. The pin is specific to your exact unit. If you have lost your pin you will need to reach out to Curt directly for a new one.
