Will Yakima FrontLoader and RocketBox Fit on 2007 Toyota Matrix with 49 Inch Vortex Crossbars

Hello, Can you please confirm that the Rhino Rack 2500 kit 50 inch bars will work on my 2007 Toyota Matrix naked roof? Also, can I definitely use my Yakima Frontloader and Rocketbox on this rack? Will I still be able to open the hatchback with the roof loaded? Thanks for any info with this! Rhino Rack looks like a great alternative to the much more expensive Yakima/Thule systems, right?? This will be my first etrailer purchase. I grew up in Lake St. Louis, so its cool that youre located in Wentzville! Thanks,

Yes, the Rhino-Rack Roof Rack will fit on your 2007 Toyota Matrix:

49" Vortex Crossbars - # RRVA126B-2
2500 Series Legs - # RRRLKVA
Fit Kit - # DK062

You should be just fine to fit the Yakima RocketBox Pro 12 Y07191 and the Yakima FrontLoader # Y02103 on the 49" crossbars. The RocketBox is 36" wide so that leaves you with about 13" for the FrontLoader. Keep in mind that you'll likely need to mount the box or bike rack on the outside of the legs so that you have enough room on the crossbars so that you'll be able to open up the cargo box.
