I can absolutely help you out with the different wiring functions and wire gauge of the 7-way connector you asked about:
- Bargman 7-Way, RV-Style Connector w/ 8' Heavy Duty Insulated Cable - Trailer End # 54006-058
The white and black wires are 10 gauge, the blue is 12 gauge, and the rest are 14 gauge. The blue wire 12 gauge is the brake wire, the brown wire is right turn/stop, the red wire is left turn/stop, the green wire 14 gauge is running lights, the yellow wire is auxiliary/reverse light, the white wire is ground, and the black wire is the 12 volt hot lead.
