Does HydraStar Brake Actuator Need HBA-CAM Adapter When Used with 2008 Ford F-250
Question:
If I install the Hydrastar kit with actuator and I am pulling with the a 2008 Ford F250 Diesel do I need the Item # HBA-CAM? It is unclear in the documentation if it is a necessity or not.

Hydrastar states that with their actuators like the Hydrastar # HBA16 you would need to use the adapter # HBA-CAM with the integrated brake controller of your 2008 Ford F-250. What's interesting is that for the Ford trucks the adapter is not needed for 2005-2006 models, is needed for 2007-2008, and then isn't needed for any of the newer trucks.
