Availability of Supplemental Braking System that Has Manual Override Lever for Testing Brakes
Question:
Hey etrailer Gurus, im a creature of habit that recently moved up to flat towing a jeep on a class a up from truck towing a bumper pull. Used to be every startup from my truck and bumper pull began with a dry pavement test at 25 mph where i hit the break controllers manual slide knob. Id make sure my trailer breaks activated by feeling the bumper pull trailer breaks stopping my tow vehicle i.e. trailer breaks only slowing my truck. im looking for a supplemental breaking system for flat towing my jeep wrangler behind my new class A and want to routinely do a similar test. While i see LEDs and other alarmsfoot when electronics indicate an error but am not seeing a quick positive test where i can feel the jeep flat tow vehicle slowing my class A albeit much slower than my old configuration due to the masses involved. Can you confirm if this or any other of your supplemental jeep flat tow systems has such a feature? Big thanks in advance! Best,

The Blue Ox Patriot supplemental braking system part # BLU37TR has a manual override lever that you can apply from within the motorhome to perform the brake test you mentioned.
