What Is The Maximum Length Of Your Propane Hose Can Be Before Experiencing Pressure Droppage

How long of a rubber propane hose can I run from my RV manifold to a barbecue and maintain adequate pressure?

Helpful Expert Reply:
It is not recommended to have a hose above 20 feet as then you will start to notice pressure droppage. For that reason I recommend the MB Sturgis Propane Hose # MBS57FR which measures in at 15' long.
This hose has 3/8" female flare fittings on both ends, and has a maximum pressure rating of 350 PSI.
