How Can I Replace the CH751 Keys For The Compartment Doors On My Camper

Question:

I saw that 80 of the new RVs use the same key code CH751 on the compartment doors. I just checked my RV keys and sure enough, its a CH751 - this seems like a really bad idea to me. I have two Questions: 1. If I get a keyed-alike set, would I be guaranteed that my new locks would NOT use a CH751 key? A CH751 key is a deal breaker! 2. Can I pick my own key code? My camper door key is the same as the key shown for part #295-000077. If I gave you my door key code, would you be able to sell me a keyed-alike set to match that code? Thanks

The CH751 is a common key code, but if you did get a keyed alike lock set from us the key code will not be CH751. With regard to your second question, we would not be able to make a key to match a key code you give us. If you want to rekey your compartment doors on your RV, with keys that match the code on your RV door lock, you may have to change all of the locks in your RV. The Replacement Cam Lock Cylinder for RVs - Keyed Alike Option - Stainless Steel - 1-3/4" Long, part # 295-000077, is a lock cylinder that can replace your the lock cylinders on your compartment doors.

I have included a video review of the Global Link Lock Cylinder below.
