Will Curt Trailer Hitch C12028 Fit a 2004 Chevy Monte Carlo SS
Question:
I have a super sport but Im not sure what is meant by high sport package.as far as I know the only difference between mine and the standard model is the engine size which is an un- supercharged 3800. Please advise on whether or not there is a hitch available .

From what I could find the High Sport model of the Monte Carlo refers to one of the 6th generations specialty NASCAR editions of the vehicle. It seems to be associated with the Dale Jr. edition. If your 2004 Monte Carlo is an SS but not one of these NASCAR editions then trailer hitch # C12028 will fit.
If you plan on doing some towing the correct ball mount is # 3590. For a 1-7/8 inch ball use # 19256 and for a 2 inch ball use # 19258. For trailer wiring use # 119178KIT. I have linked instructions and videos for the hitch and wiring for you.
