How to Determine Replacement Leaf Springs & Equalizer Upgrade For 2019 Wildwood 251SSXL Toy Hauler

I have the 2019 Wildwood 251ssxl toy hauler. It has a Tandem axle with 3 leaf factory springs. The axle weight is 8635 lbs and unladen weight is 5759 lbs. Unladen the springs are quite flat. Laden they are really flat. I also get alot of tail wagging. What do you recommend?4 leaf springs with the EZ flex suspension kit?

Appreciate the photo, and while we likely have some options for your leaf springs and an equalizer upgrade for your 2019 Wildwood 251SSXL, there are some things that you'll need to know for replacements for both, including your axle capacity and measurements (as we don't have a way to know those things for individual trailers); let's start with the leaf springs.

Along with the axle capacity, which you may be able to find on a stamp or sticker on the axle, The best way to determine if a leaf spring will fit is by measuring the length from the center of the spring eye to the center of the other spring eye, along with the width of your spring. For example, the 4-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 4,000-lb Trailer Axles # e27SR measures 1-3/4" wide and is 26" from spring eye to spring eye, and the 4-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 5,000-lb Trailer Axles # e28SR measures 1-3/4" wide and is 25-1/4" from spring eye to spring eye.

Then for the equalizer, you'll need one that also measures up to your axle capacity, and has the same measurements as your current equalizer. For example, the Road Armor Shock Absorbing Equalizer Kit - Tandem Axle # LC696740 measures 6" horizontally from center hole to center hole and 3-1/2" from the center of the equalizer to the top hole.
