What Is The Difference Between The Reese Elite Rails RP87FR and RP39FR For a 2021 Ford F-350?
Question:
I am looking for an underbed 5th wheel hitch rail system for my 2021 Ford F-350 8' bed and see you have the Reese # RP87FR and RP39FR both listed as a fit, but they look exactly the same. What is the difference?

The Reese Elite Under-Bed 5th Wheel Rail and Install Kit # RP87FR and # RP39FR you were looking at for your 2021 Ford F-350 are actually both the exact same kit.
The reason for two different kits is one is listed under the 5th wheel hitch section of our fitguide, where the other is listed under the gooseneck hitch selection for your truck. This is done solely to allow the hitch to show up in both places, and as such you will just want to go with whichever option is the cheapest at the time.
I do really like the Reese Elite rails due to them being the exact same as the OEM puck system in the Ford trucks so it gives you a wide variety of choices of hitches to pick from.
A great option is the B&W Companion OEM 5th-Wheel Hitch for Ford Super Duty Prep Package # BWRVK3300 due to its 20,000lb capacity, and its great features such as the 1" thick dual jaws for superior king pin contact, and its cam-action handle to allow you to quickly and easily unhook your trailer from your truck.
I included videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
