Can Tekonsha 90195 P3 Brake Controller Be Mounted to Side of Center Console of 2018 Toyota Tacoma
Question:
Im getting a P3 controller put into my 2018 Toyota Tacoma Sport. They are mounting it on the side of the console. Would this be a good place? Or should it be mounted near the door on the dash.

The Tekonsha Prodigy P3, part # 90195 needs to be mounted level in a side to side orientation, pointed in the direction of travel, so using the side of the center console wouldn't allow the controller to operate correctly.
You'll want to mount the controller to the underside of the dash or on its downward slope, preferably to the right of the steering column, but to the left would be fine as well.
You'll also need a # 3031-P brake controller wiring harness, as well if you don't already have one.
I've linked to a typical install video, as well as to a video showing how the controller works.
