Will the Pro Series Complete Weight Distribution System Work with a 2 Inch x 3 Inch Trailer Frame
Question:
My trailer tongue is 3inch tall by 2inch wide. Before I purchase Id like to confirm that the snap up bracket and sway control ball plate will mount to this. Ive already checked for obstructions that might limit fore/aft positioning 27-30inch area is clear. Thanks.

You will have no problem installing the snap-up brackets from the Pro Series Complete Weight Distribution System, # PS49901, on your 2 inch wide x 3 inch tall trailer frame, but the sway control ball plate may be a close fit.
The plate that bolts to the trailer frame for the sway control bar measures 3 inches x 6 inches. This means the ball plate is the same height as your trailer frame. I spoke with my contact for Pro Series and he said this bar should work on a trailer frame that is 3 inches tall since the bolt holes are 2-1/4 inches apart on center.
Another option would be a weight distribution system with integrated sway control like the Fastway e2 weight distribution systems. These systems do not require any drilling to install and the spring arm brackets bolt around the trailer frame.
