Why Does The Furrion Side View Camera Prep Have Additional Wiring Inside Marker Light Connectors?

Question:

My 2022 Jayflight 264BH has the Furrion prep. I went with Haloview. Pulled the trailer wires out and there’s yellow, red, black and brown. The Haloview just has 2 sets Ground and DC. Which colors do I add to ground and which do I add to DC? PS.. I tried the red and black to DC and brown to ground. The lights came on but they won’t turn off even though I unplugged my 7pin. So I know something ain’t right.

The Furrion Prep that you have on your 2022 Jayco Jay Flight 264BH has a black wire (ground), brown wire (12 volt positive running light), red wire (12 volt positive camera) and the yellow wire (trigger wire for Furrion Camera).

To make your Haloview work properly you will need to connect the 12 volt positive from the camera to the brown wire only and your ground wires to the black wire. The red wire that powers the camera will have power from the coach battery as with the Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Observation Camera System # FCE48TASL-05 it is designed to be used when parked as well as when driven.

Installed Haliview camera system with side marker cameras on 2023 Jayco Ht 31Mb fifth wheel with Furrion camera pre-wired package. The side cameras go black when using turn signals and come back on when single is turned off. Any fix for this?

@EarlR I recommend reaching out to Haloview for help with your specific camera issue. As we do not carry their cameras it may be an issue with how the camera was wired into your 2023 Jayco HT 31MB 5th wheel.
