How Much Clearance Above Slide Out Does Slide Topper Need
Question:
I am looking at this awning for my camper , 2012 Forest river Flagstaff ,21FBRS .wanting to know if I have enough room from roof molding . Could you email me installation instructions ? I could not download instructions. Do I need to use the short brackets? see photos. I only have about 4 3/4 inches. And want enough slope for runoff. Thanks

We've asked Solera in the past about how much clearance above the slide out would be needed for a slide topper to fit and they have said in past that between 3 and 6 inches would be fine so your clearance of 4-3/4 inches would be more than adequate.
I attached a link to the install instructions to this page but even more helpful is I attached a link to an install video that will walk you through the entire process.
