What is the Difference Between Dual and Single Path Air Compressors
Question:
What is the advantage of the dual path vs single path

The big advantage to a dual path compressor, like the Air Lift Load Controller I Compressor System for Air Helper Springs - Dual Path # AL25651is that it allows you to air each spring separately. This way, if you are carrying a load in the bed that is not spread out evenly, you can provide more support to one side and get yourself nice and level again.
The single path options, like the Air Lift Load Controller II Compressor System for Air Helper Springs - Single Path # AL25592, will always air up both springs at the same time, so if the load isn't balanced before airing them up, it will still not be even once they are.
If you were pulling a 5th wheel or gooseneck, this isn't really that big of an issue though. But if you are putting large loads in your bed or are using an in-bed camper, I highly recommend using a dual path option.
