Recommended Leaf Springs for a 2007 R-Travel Trail-Lite Bantam F-17

Question:

Are these the right leaf springs for my trailer? A few pictures attached eye to eye is about 26. And what bushings and bolts will I need? I just bolted up Sumo Springs TSS 106-40 to help with sway/bounce. While doing so I noticed another issue, and am wondering if I need to replace my leaf springs and see if there was any other advice you may have on these 2 issues. 1. After installing the sumos I gained 1/4inch height on the passenger side. Then went to install the other side. And noticed that the drivers side is almost and inch taller than the other side. 2. I noticed wearing on the inside of my trailer tires where its hitting the body, this must be happening during body roll/sway in transit, possibly related to the height difference. I was originally looking for a shock kit and trailer sway bar kit, but was supremely disappointed the only options were all weld on and expensive for under slung leaf springs, and really disappointed there were no axl to frame sway kits. I tow with an 05 Suburban Z71, and even with the light trailer I am using a WDH and sway control and still ran into some issues with sway. I am trying to nip this in the bud. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The SumoSprings # TSS-106-40 will definitely help with the swaying and body roll, if the springs are getting worn out they can definitely contribute to sway and not sitting level. This is most likely what is also causing the side walls of the tires to make contact with the trailer body.

With that being said, the Trailer Leaf Spring # e54SR will be the closest we have to your current springs. The bushing are included with this spring, but you will need to use add the # TRFA73Z916DLNZ Shackle Bolt with Locknut if you were not going to reuse your current bolts.

As a side note, you can also load the front of the trailer a little heavier to help reduce sway problems, but don't over do it. The typically tongue weight of a trailer will be 10 to 15% of the total trailer weight, but you can go a bit over this without issues.
