Replacement Fan Motor Assembly Kit for Fan-Tastic Vent on 2004 Airstream Trailer
Question:
I have a 2004 Airstream with 2 fan-tastic fans. When looking for replacement motors your #FVK8017-00 looks like the correct ion but when I checked the dimensions I have a 12inch fan blade. Yours has a 11-3/8inch blade. Is this the correct unit for me. The old part # 1138-00 is what my original parts list calls for, yes I still have the original parts list for all thats worth. The fans are still working but the rear has developed a squeak when run at low speeds.

I was able to confirm with my contact over at Dometic (owners of Fantastic Vent) that the Replacement Fan Motor Assembly Kit for Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent Fans # FVK8017-00 is exactly what you're looking for. The blade dimensions might be slightly different but this won't impact the compatibility with your old unit and it will wire up to your old Fantastic Vents.
