TireMinder Smart TPMS Compatible With Cat's Eye TPMS

Question:

I have a Cats Eye Tire Pressure Maintenance system on our class C motorhomes rear dually wheels. This system merges both tires valves together and monitors the air pressure together. When the pressure gets low, the Cats Eye opens up. You can then full both tire together through one valve. Unfortunately, there is no remote alert. You have to physically look at the Cats Eye mounted on the wheel. My question is, will one TPMS sensor cap per dually both tires work properly? I can use an air pressure gauge to check both tires together with no problem. Thanks.

I spoke with Minder, and they informed me that the TireMinder Smart TPMS for RVs # TPMS-APP-4 is not compatible with your Cat's Eye TPMS. The TireMinder comes with external transmitters that go on the valve stems that will allow the system to communicate with itself which would conflict with the Cat's Eye system.

You would need to install the TireMinder # TPMS-APP-4 by itself if you would like to use this system.

You would need to install a sensor cap per tire to get an accurate reading of your vehicles tire pressure.

We do offer a 2 sensor add-on should you want to monitor more tires # TM-2Brass in brass or in aluminum # TM-2ALUM.
