Does the etrailer Trailer Axle Beam with Easy Grease Spindles # e83GR Have Brake Flanges?
Question:
Does this idler axle have a flange for future addition of brakes?
asked by: Michael J
Expert Reply:
The etrailer Trailer Axle Beam with Easy Grease Spindles # e83GR does have brake flanges which will allow you to add brakes at any time.
It does not come with a hub so you can choose a set of idler hubs like the Dexter Trailer Idler Hub Assembly # 84545UC1-EZ which has the more common 5 on 4-1/2" lug pattern, or go ahead and install the brakes and hubs now.
If you need help selecting the correct hub and brake assemblies please let me know what wheel lug pattern you want to have and brake type(Drum Electric/Hydraulic, or Disc Brakes)
