Will 4-Way to 5-Way Adapter 47515 Work on 2021 Toyota Corolla Hybrid
Question:
Took my car to Chucks Custom Trailer to install my hitch. The hitch went on fine but they refused to connect the 4 to 5 pin adapter. the instructions says to splice the blue wire from the adapter kit to the backup lights. will the corolla hybrid 2021 handle the backup lights of the trailer? They did not think it would.

That will depend on what you plan to power with the reverse light for the trailer wiring. Most likely it's just a reverse lockout solenoid which does not draw much and would be no problem for the 4-way to 5-way adapter part # 47515 that you mentioned. If it's several incandescent reverse lights I could maybe see it being an issue. Which if that were the case you could just convert them to LED by replacing the the bulbs.
