Recommended Bike Rack for Class I Hitch on 2013 Ford Mustang
Question:
I am having a hitch installed so now the question is what carrier would your recommend and if I find one on Facebook or Craigs list used , will any carrier fit my hitch or do I need to get specific to the car?

If you're installing a Class I hitch with a 1-1/4" receiver like the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4" # C11210 then you will need a bike rack that can be used on Class I hitches. I recommend using the Swagman Chinook Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount # S64683 since it can be used in Class I hitches with 1-1/4" receivers and allows you to carry bikes that weigh up to 45-lbs each. I really like that this rack comes with locks for the bikes and to secure the rack to the vehicle, so everything will always be secured.
I've linked a short review video of this rack for you to check out as well.
