Recommended Bike Rack For Transporting Roamer Fat Ebikes On The Back Of A Motorhome

Question:

Recently purchased 2 Senada Roamer e- bikes 26 x4 inch tires, 62 lbs each. Would like to mount carrier on 2021 Jayco Redhawk motorhome which has a class III, 2 inch receiver. What is your recommendation?

Expert Reply:

I recommend looking into the Swagman Current Bike Rack # S64678 for transporting your two Roamer electric fat bikes on your motorhome's 2" receiver. This bike rack fits tires up to 5" wide and secures the bike by the frame, making it compatible with bikes that have fenders or baskets. The weight capacity is 60lbs per bike and it looks like your bikes weigh about 61lbs with the battery. I recommend removing the battery pack so that each bike will be under the 60lb capacity.

Locks are included to deter theft of your bikes or bike rack. When not in use, the carrier's upright arm folds down for more clearance at the back of your motorhome. I attached a helpful demonstration video for you to check out.
