Parts Needed to Add Wall Mounted Thermostat to Furrion Chill AC System

Hello, I purchased the Furrion Chill RV Air Conditioner and Air Distribution Box w/ Built-in Thermostat - 13,500 Btu Item # FR52PR from etrailer this summer. Everything is on the unit is fine except for a terrible design for the thermostat. I bought an aftermarket thermostat relocator for Furrion units, but its only compatible with Replacement Single Zone Controller for Furrion Chill RV Air Conditioner Setup Item # FACC12SA-BL . My question is, will Item #FACC12SA-BL directly replace the existing control box in Furrion Chill unit? Thanks

If you're trying to add a wall mounted thermostat to your Furrion Chill RV Air Conditioner and Air Distribution Box w/ Built-in Thermostat - 13,500 Btu # FR52PR then you will need the Replacement Single Zone Controller for Furrion Chill RV Air Conditioner Setup Item # FACC12SA-BL like you mentioned, and the Replacement Premium Wall Thermostat for Furrion Chill RV Air Conditioner - Single Zone - Black # FR33PR. This Single Zone Controller # FACC12SA-BL will work with the # FR52PR you've got just fine.

There is a complete Furrion AC unit that's designed to be used with a wall mounted thermostat with the Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System - Single Zone - 15,000 Btu - Black # FR23PV; this unit comes with the Replacement Single Zone Controller # FACC12SA-BL and thermostat included and would eliminate the controls on the air distribution box that you're not liking.
