Will Axles With 14 Inch Wheels be Centered Under the Fender Arches

Question:

The axels on my old tandem axel National rental cargo trailer built many years ago are 34 1/2 inches center to center. Will the axels sit in the center of the arches on the HP74VR tear fender? The trailer had a stock 69 in. long by 12 wide fiberglass tear fender on it. Rim size is 14 inches which I believe is the original size it came with.

Without knowing the placement of your axles it is difficult to say if they will sit exactly centered under the arches on the Tandem Axle Teardrop Trailer Fenders for Enclosed Trailers # HP74VR. Keep in mind that these are designed for 15-16" wheels.

Since the fender is only 3" longer than your existing fender it is a safe bet to say they will be slightly off but close to center assuming that was the case with your 69" long fender. The # HP74VR is also not going to be as wide as what you had before at 10-3/4" wide.

We do have these fenders for 14-15" wheels, which is the # HP24VR. However, this is still the same length at 72" and only 9" wide
