2 Inch Trailer Hitch Receiver For 2019 Toyota Prius Prime With 1-1/4 Inch Hitch
Question:
I have a 1.25 hitch on my Prius Prime car that was just installed. I would like to purchase the 2” hitch from your company and have my old hitch professionally removed and new hitch professionally installed. Are you able to give recommendations of where to have that done?

You can remove your 1-1/4 inch hitch and install a 2 inch hitch on your 2019 Toyota Prius Prime, and to do that you will need an EcoHitch, as that is the only hitch with a 2 inch receiver for your vehicle; the correct part is the following:
- EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7369
It's a really smart idea to go to a 2 inch hitch because compared to the Class I hitches that fit your '19 Prius Prime, a 2 inch receiver is going to have a much wider range of higher-quality accessories to choose from, as well as a higher 300 lb tongue weight rating if you do carry heavier gear.
In regards to installation, we are not affiliated with any installers, this is something that any mechanic will be able to do. So if you have a mechanic shop locally you trust you can make an appointment there. Otherwise you can simply call local mechanics and ask if they have experience with this install (which is comparatively easy for mechanics).
Another option that is gaining popularity is having a mobile mechanic come to you and install the hitch. These are simple to find online and don't require you leaving your home
