Can Two Thule Hullavators Be Installed On A Subaru Forester?
Question:
Will 2 fit on my Subaru Forester SUV?
asked by: Bill M
Expert Reply:
The Thule Hullavator Kayak Carrier # TH898 weighs 40lbs, requires crossbar space of 28-1/2", and the crossbars need to extend past the roof rack legs by at least 4" on each side. So in order to fit two on your Subaru Forester, you will need a roof rack that is at least 57" long and that has a weight capacity for 80lbs plus the weight of your two kayaks.
The Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars Silver - 60" Long - Qty 2 # TH711500 would work well, but you will need to provide the year and roof configuration of your Subaru Forester so that I can verify which feet and fit kit you need. Or you can simply enter your vehicle into our website's fit guide and click on the roof rack category to find a roof rack that has 57"+ crossbars. I attached demonstration videos for you.
