Can I Mount A Platform To My 2017 Chevy Tahoe Factory Rack
Question:
I bought this roof rack in the 65inch length thinking it would mount to my crossbars. It does NOT fit well. Will the pioneer backbone mount to my Tahoe AND allow to mount this SRM600 to it?

I do have a solution for you that will get a platform on the roof of your vehicle, but first let me answer some of your questions. I will start by informing you that Rhino Rack and Go Rhino are not affiliated companies. This means that the Go Rhino SRM 600, which is the item pictured in your question, will not attach to a Pioneer Platform. The Go Rhino SRM 600 is also not designed to fit your 2017 Chevy Tahoe. In addition, Rhino-Rack does not have a Backbone system that fits your 2017 Chevy Tahoe either. However, they do make a Pioneer Platform that will attach to your factory rack.
The Rhino-Rack Universal Pioneer Platform Rack for Crossbars - Aluminum - 58" Long x 47" Wide, part # RR42115BF, will attach to the factory crossbars of your roof rack. This should not be an issue, your factory roof rack has a weight limit of 165 lbs. Once you have the platform installed you can accessorize in a similar way as the Go Rhino roof top basket.
