Can I Install the Tekonsha ZCI on my 2020 Lincoln Corsair and Where Are the Wire Connections Made
Question:
I would like to put the ZCI in my 2020 Corsair, but I need to know what wires to put the sensors on and if the wires go up to the roof and then down to the tailgate, and also where to run the power supply wire. Thanks.

When installing the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness w/ 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector and Installation Kit # 119250KIT you'll put sensors on the left and right turn signal wires as well as the stop light circuit and tail light circuits on your vehicle. The only way to know which wire carries which function is by testing the wires using the included test light, but you'll want to test the wiring behind each of the tail lights.
When it comes to routing the wires, we don't have vehicle specific instructions for a 2020 Lincoln Corsair but you're likely going to run the power wire under the vehicle up to the battery. When it comes to getting the harness outside the vehicle to the hitch, there's likely a grommet in the area behind the tail lights where you'll make the connection to the wires. The 2020 Ford Escape should have a similar configuration so I've linked an installation video we did of a 4 way trailer harness on that vehicle that you can use as a rough guide to complete the installation of the ZCI Kit # 119250KIT on your Corsair. I don't believe there are any wires routed through the tailgate into the roof though and your installation will be done mostly in the rear cargo area and under the vehicle.
