Will a Trunk Mount Bike Rack Hold Electric Bikes On a 2022 Hyundai Kona

Question:

I have bought this 2 bike rack trunk mountain with adjustable arms , but I am not sure that is it good for carrying electronic bikes ? Because this kind of bikes are heavy. Although I want to carry just one electronic bike . So I need a pice of advice. Thanks a lot

I do have an option for you to carry an electric bike/bikes on a 2022 Hyundai Kona but you can't use a trunk mounted bike rack. The weight of the bike will exceed that of all trunk mounted carriers which would deform the metal on the vehicle. The only option for electric bike/bikes is hitch mount. You'll first need to start with the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C11529. Then you can use a hitch bike rack of your choosing rated for electric bikes and class I hitches, the Saris SuperClamp EX Bike Rack part # SA4025F is what I recommend if you don't have fenders. It has locks for security and no center section to lift the bikes over.
