How Should the Thinline Trailer Reflectors with Adhesive Backing Be Installed

Question:

Hi, I am just curious if it is possible that the adhesive could be affected my high heat and humid temps after years of use. Thanks in advance.

Yes. It's not uncommon that over time, adhesives are affected by heat, humidity and exposure to the sun and UV rays; the Thinline Trailer Reflectors - Adhesive Backing - Screw Mount - Rectangle - Amber - Qty 2 # RE15AK aren't immune to this, unfortunately. However, when installing these I typically don't recommend relying only on the adhesive backing and that you also use a self tapping screw like the Screw - Self-Tapping Phillips Head - 8 x 3/4" # 1131832 to keep them firmly attached to the trailer.
