Electric Jack EJ-3520-BBX Will Not Lift Trailer
Question:
My electric jack will work, the gears will turn but the jack does not have enough power to lift the trailer though the motor continues to turn. Sounds like it is slipping, how do I repair this?

Since there isn't any type of rebuild kit or replacement gears for the Electric Jack # EJ-3520-BBX, let's try and troubleshoot first.
What you'll want to do first is ensure the battery is fully charged that is powering it (which sounds simple but is something a lot of people simply overlook). Next, we often see that a poor ground connection can cause an issue with the jack, so ensure your ground is good, free of any corrosion, which may remedy the issue. This jacks grounds via its mounting bracket, so try and removing the jack, checking to ensure it is mounted to clean, bare metal, and re-mounting it.
If those things don't work, that means the gears have been damaged and it will need to be replaced with another # EJ-3520-BBX.
