Recommended Transmission Cooler for 2017 Honda Pilot with Factory Cooler
Question:
my original transmission towing kit cooler installed by honda dont do the job for towing my 3000 lbs -18 feet- trailer. On a 300 miles ride at 90 mph, my signal of overheat transmission came 3 times, waiting eatch time 15 minutes to cool down... which one do you suggest me to solve that problem and do it take a special kit to install thanks

You can use the Derale # D13503 on your 2017 Honda Pilot as long as your Pilot doesn't have the 9 speed automatic transmission and it will do a great job to help keep your transmission from overheating while towing; this is the largest cooler available for the 2017 Pilot. This cooler fits on 5/16" transmission lines, which will be the same as those found on your vehicle, so you won't need any additional parts. This cooler will work as a supplement to your existing transmission cooler.
