Can Swagman Roamer Roof Rack S80510 Be Mounted To Aluminum Trim On 2015 Jayco Sport 12UD Camper?

The instructions say to mount no more than 1/2 from the side of the camper top. There is an aluminum trim strip along the edge of my 2015 Jayco Sport 12UD. 1/2 in from the edge falls right in the middle of this trim strip. Can the feet of this mount be mounted atop this trim by drilling thru it?

Yes, there is no issues mounting the Swagman Roamer LT Roof Rack # S80510 you were looking at on your 2015 Jayco Sport 12UD camper with the aluminum trim over the mounting location.

The key things will be making sure that you hit structure underneath the trim, and that you seal the drilled hole with Sealant # 34427034145-1 to prevent leaks.
