Can B and W Companion Hitch for GM OEM Rail Kit be Used with Sidewinder Pin Box
Question:
I purchased a 3710 20K companion for the GMC puck set up. When putting the hitch together, I noticed a warning that stated not to use this hitch with a pin box that moves the pivot point such as the sidewinder or Lippert turning point. The truck is a GMC 3500 HD with the factory prep package. Is it safe to use ,or do I have to tow in the lock out mode?

Sorry for the confusion but you can use the B and W Companion Hitch part # BWRVK3710 with a pivoting pin box like the Sidewinder part # RP61410 that you referenced. You'd need the wedge part # SWW-06 as well and you'd be set.
My guess is you found that warning on the head of the hitch which also fits their other Companion hitches that are not rated for use with a Sidewinder due to how they attach to the truck via a gooseneck hitch ball.
