Does Temperature Sensor of 2017 Mercedes Sprinter 3500 Winnebago View Move To Install Front Hitch

Question:

There is an Ambient temperature sensor mounted to the bottom of the stone guard. Will installation of this Front mount trailer hitch interfere with the sensors placement or proper functioning? Will there be any reduction in front ground clearance with the addition of this trailer hitch?

I checked out the install instructions for the EcoHitch front hitch # 306-X7352 that fits your 2017 Mercedes Benz Sprinter and there will be a hole that gets cut right where your current sensor is. So what you'd need to do is remove the sensor from that hole and relocate it to the side of where the hitch will come through. I would first remove it though, install the hitch following the instructions and then relocate the sensor in that area based on where it would make the most sense.
