Thule Roof Rack for 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo for Carrying Thule Mountaineer Box

Question:

Good afternoon, I am inquiring about if it would be possible to use a Thule Mountaneer roof box with the older square bars it came with. We would be mounting it on a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo with side rails only. Are there feet that can be purchased to mount the bars to the roof of the Jeep? If not, are there newer cross bars that we could purchase and still use the Mountaneer carrier? It is still in great shape after all these years. Thank you so much for your suggestions, Best,

For your 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo we have current roof racks that will work great with your Mountaineer but the square bars you have now are no longer supported by Thule so you'd have to go with their newer style that have a slot on the underside of them. So you'd want the part numbers # Y00425, # Y53TR, and # Y00244 for an aero style rack that will be much quieter from Yakima.
