Replacement Extang Tonneau Cover For 2001 Chevy Silverado With ToolBox

Hi, I own a 2001 Chevy Silverado. It has an 8foot bed but has a Toolbox. My father had an Extang Soft Roll, Snap Type Bed Cover installed when he bought this truck brand new. It utilizes snaps and rails and 3 cross braces. The snaps are on the sides and rear of the cover. I am unsure how the front up against the toolbox of the cover is secured as I do not see any snaps. Could you please provide me with the correct model replacement cover # ? I am pretty certain the correct one is the Replacement Cover for Extang Classic Platinum Snap On, Roll-up Tonneau Cover - Black but believe that to be a full 8foot model. Please help.

I have a solution for you, but the Replacement Cover for Extang Classic Platinum Snap On, Roll-up Tonneau Cover - Black # EX6560 that you were looking at is for a 6' bed which will not work for your 2001 Silverado's 8' bed. The best way to accurately match up a new vinyl cover is for you to check the part number of your current cover; this is typically under the cover towards the front. After finding the part number we can then try to track down a replacement vinyl cover.

Another solution would be to install a new tonneau cover on your Silverado. Since you have the 8' bed with a toolbox, perhaps the Access Toolbox Edition Soft, Roll-Up Tonneau Cover # 834532000807 would work for you. This works with 19"-21" wide toolboxes that sit over the truck bed rails. I attached a demonstration video regarding this cover.
