Is There an Under-Bed Rail Kit for Demco Hijacker for 2004 Chevy Silverado 2500 Short Bed
Question:
I just purchased a 2007 30foot 5th wheel trailer. It came with the Hijacker Ultra Slide, Double Pivot hitch, rated for 16K, which seems to be in good condition. The hitch has 4 prongs which protrude from the bottom, and I have 4 pins1/2x3. I want to be able to use the truck when I dont have the hitch in. I also want a custom fit mounting for my 2004 Chevrolet Silverado HD 2500 short box. I understand, that an under bed mount leaves only 2inch holes in the bed when removed. With an in bed custom mount, what is left in the bed when the hitch is removed, just rails? Do you have the installation kit I need for this older hitch, for either insulation, but, Im leaning towards an in-bed installation, if only the rails remain? Thank you.

Helpful Expert Reply:
For your 2004 Chevy Silverado 2500HD you'd just need a standard fifth wheel rail kit to attach your Demco Hijacker # C16418-204.
Or if you wanted to have an under-bed setup you'd need the under bed rail kit part # RP30061 and the rail kit adapter part # RP30156.
