Does Curt Trailer Wiring for 2021 Nissan Rogue Require Extending Wires
Question:
As I understand it on the 21 Rogues you dont have to take the rear cargo interior trim out just enough to remove the tail lights ! right! Everything now mounts under the vehicle, meaning the black box. Why under reviews did James state that there is not enough wiring to reach the passenger tail lights? did he do something wrong? Also is the Curt C44ER a better wiring unit to fit than the TK76FR tekonsha ? looks like the TK76FR might be hard to fish through the body holes! thank you! I am 75 and climbing around on the ground isnt much fun anymore!

You are correct that to install the Curt trailer wiring harness # C44ER on your 2021 Nissan Rogue you do not have to take the interior trim completely out. I did see the review from James where he said he didn't have enough wire which is confusing since we have had other customers who installed this not report the same issue so I'd assume he may have done something different.
In general I like to recommend the Tekonsha kits like the part # TK76FR over the Curt harnesses as we have found the Tekonsha harnesses are a bit more reliable long term.
I attached install instruction links for both harnesses for you to check out as well.
