Brake Controller For 2007 Itasca Suncruiser 38T For Roadmaster Tow Dolly
Question:
2007 Itasca Suncruiser 38T. What kind of brake controller do I need for the tow dolly with electric brakes

Expert Reply:
You would simply need a standard trailer brake controller for your motorhome for use with the Roadmaster Tow Dolly with Electric Brakes # RM-2050-1.
Assuming your Itasca has a 4-way, you would first need to add a 7-way with the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7; you will also need extra brake wire, about 10 feet of Deka Jacketed 2 Wire, 10 Gauge, Brake Wire # 10-2-1.
With that you can add a brake controller, with the best option being the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller # 90195. This brake controller will give you the best performance for smooth braking that is proportional to that of your motorhome, is easy to use, and has a bright, easy-to-read LCD screen.
I have added some links below to video reviews for you to check out as well if you'd like to take a look.
