I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller # 90195 for your 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo E. This controller is capable of controlling the electric trailer brakes or electric over hydraulic brakes on trailers with up to 4 braking axles. The controller has a customizable LCD screen that will also inform you of any diagnostic issues that occur in the trailer braking system. You can also easily remove this controller with the included quick disconnect mounting system which will allow you to use it with other vehicles or store it when not needed.
The Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter # TK93VR will plug into your factory connector since you have the tow package on your Grand Cherokee. The connector on the Jeep is difficult to see as it is located above a wiring harness that is behind the hood release pull handle. I have linked a video below that will cover the installation and features of both of these products.
