What Platform Bike Carrier Do You Recommend to Make it Easier to Load a Rad Rover E-Bike?
Question:
I am looking for a flat bike carrier for crv 2008 carrying rad rover 5 fat tire bike. I have a 2” hitch and nice rack however the bike is too heavy to lift for one person female. I would like something to roll the bike up and onto carrier.

For your fat tire RavRover bike, I recommend the Thule EasyFold XT Bike Rack # TH903202. The reason why the EasyFold XT is effective for heavy bikes is because it has a 65 pound per-bike weight capacity and comes with an integrated ramp for easy mounting. With the ramp, you will not have to lift the bike off the ground to secure to your vehicle. Also, since the EasyFold XT secures your bikes by the frame, you will not have to worry about extra cracking or damage to your bike's fenders.
For an even easier loading experience, I recommend the Extra-Long Loading Ramp for Thule EasyFold XT # TH933402. The longer ramp does not have as steep of an angle as the ramp that comes with the EasyFold XT. I went ahead and attached a video to this answer that shows the difference.
If you are concerned about rear bumper clearance when using the EasyFold XT with your vehicle, the measurement of the center pinhole of the shank to the closest part of the rack is 8 inches. In order to make sure it will clear the bumper on your vehicle, I recommend measuring the length of the center of your hitch pinhole to the end face of your bumper.
