Compatibility of etrailer e98912 Class III Hitch With Kuat Sherpa Bike Rack on 2019 Subaru Crosstrek

Hi I was wondering if this was compatible with the kuat sherpa, I wasnt sure if the kuat would still far enough out from the car to clear the bumper. Thanks!

When we installed the etrailer brand # e98912 Class III hitch on a 2019 Subaru Crosstrek, we found that once installed, the receiver hitch pin hole was recessed by 3 inches under the vehicle.
This is plenty of clearance that would allow the Küat Sherpa (part # SH22G for gray, # SH22B for black or # SH22P for Pearl) plenty of room to install and would allow it to fold up against the rear of the vehicle when the bikes are unloaded. The Sherpa has a shank that measures 7-1/2 inches from the hitch pin hole to the closest portion of the rack when folded, so it'll work perfectly with that hitch on your Crosstrek.
