Recommended 5th Wheel Install Bracket/Bed Rail Kit for 2006 Ford F250
Question:
I am purchasing a 5th wheel trailer and the seller is including a Reese 5th wheel hitch. However, they are not including the bed-rails. I have a 2006 Ford f250, can you tell me which rail kit I will need?

The Reese # RP30035 Universal 5th Wheel Install Rail/Bracket kit is compatible with your 2006 Ford F250 but for a very slight upcharge, you can use a Curt custom install kit, part # C16448-204 that will require an estimated 1-1/2 hours less install time. Unless you're on a tight budget, the custom kit is the way to go.
The kit will provide industry standard rails that are compatible with the Reese hitch you have.
If you'd like to install a 7-way trailer connector/harness in the truck bed so you don't have to run the trailer connector up over the tailgate, you can install one using part # C56000.
