Recommended Clevis and Safety Chains for Safety Chain Loops Kit for Ram Underbed Gooseneck Hitch
Question:
Hi, it appears the clevis hooks 5/16 dont fit the Curt Ram OEM puck anchors. I found replacement clevis hooks 3/8 but it doesnt look like they will go on the safety chains as the links are 5/16. How can we replace the clevis hooks so the safety chains attach to the Curt puck anchors?

The Curt Ball and Safety Chain Loops Kit for Ram Underbed Gooseneck Hitch part # C60618 will require a 1/2" clevis hook to latch around the safety chain loops. Therefore, you'll likely have to upgrade both the safety chains and clevis hooks since you can't use larger clevis hooks with smaller safety chains. The Fulton Safety Chain with 1/2" Clevis Hook part # FCHA0070324 will work great for this setup.
