Can a Slide Type 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Be Used in a Long Bed Truck
Question:
I have Ford F-250 with short bed with a slider fifth wheel. I am trading for GMC with a long bed. Can my slider be moved to the long bed. If so will it be safe to use this way. Thanks

Yes, you can use a slide type hitch such as the # RP30051 in a long bed truck. When mounted in a long bed truck it is very unlikely that you will need to use the sliding feature achieve clearance but it can be used.
If your new GMC does not already have the needed base rails just let us know the model, year and trim package, we will get yo set with needed items.
