Will OEM Trailer Connector Still Work if # C55384 T-Connector is Installed on 2001 Dodge Ram 1500
Question:
I have a 2011 Ram 1500 with a factory 7 and 4 pin . I am planning on installing some LED bars in the bed and tapping into the wiring on a 4 pin, hidden underneath. I was wondering if the existing 4 pin on rear bumper would still work after installing this part c55384 ?

Since the # C55384 T-Connector plugs inline with the existing wiring, it will allow all the signals to pass through it so that the factory 7-way and 4-pole will still be functional.
To install the T-Connector, simply unplug the wiring harness that plugs into the rear of your existing 7-way/4-pole. Plug the 1/2 the T-connector into the vehicle harness, and plug the other end of the T-connector into the rear of the factory trailer connector.
