The etrailer brand # CA-5100-Z is manufactured in China. It's constructed of 1/8 inch thick stamped zinc plated steel, which works out to be 11 gauge. For a US made 2 inch weld-on A-Frame coupler of the same thickness, I'd recommend the Dutton-Lainson # DL14008 which is constructed of 11 gauge stamped steel that features tough enamel finish. The coupler has a 5000 lb capacity, like the # CA-5100-Z coupler you'd looked at.
