Roadmaster Steering Stabilizer Life Expectancy

Question:

Ive had this stabilizer on my coach for 9 years now. I noticed a dramatic improvement in steering control the first time I drove after the installation. Our last trip, I just felt something wasnt right. A LOT of correction was needed, a softness in steering. Are these units like shock absorbers in that over time they will just wear out? Is there a suggested life expectancy in time or miles? Ive replaced all my shock absorbers, is it time to replace my RSSA? Ive got a 2012 GeorgeTown 360 XL. Ive now driven 46k miles. Thanks!

I spoke with Roadmaster and they stated their stabilizers like # RM-RBK22-RSSA have an expected 5 year life span.
