Receiver Hitch Needed To Tow A Boat Behind An RV

Question:

I can spend $1 apiece for 8 3/ 8 bolts or I can spend 3-4 dollars a bolt. I will be trailering a 21 foot outboard with two reclining seats, metal lapstrake. Will spend of course what ever makes sense. Its not like my kids much higher inboard!

Unless you know the towing capacity of the bumper you would be installing the Curt RV Bumper 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver # E-100 on this would not be a safe way to tow your boat. You'll instead want to install a receiver hitch that's rated to tow and to know which size you'll need you'll have to measure from the inside of the frame beams to find the frame width. I recommend installing the Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs, 22" to 72" Wide Item # 13703 on your RV as it has a wide range but if you have a measurement larger than 72" just reply back and I can recommend the correct receiver hitch.
